Tennis Elbow

Tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis) is an overuse injury caused by repetitive stress on the tendons that attach to the outside of the elbow, leading to inflammation, tenderness, and pain that worsens with gripping, lifting, or twisting motions. Despite the name, it’s common in anyone who performs repetitive arm and wrist movements, not just tennis players.

How We Treat Tennis Elbow at Club West Chiropractic

Our chiropractors evaluate the elbow, wrist, and surrounding joints to identify restrictions that may be placing extra strain on the tendon. Chiropractic adjustments help restore proper joint mechanics in the arm to reduce compensatory stress on the injured tendon.

We combine this with acupuncture to reduce pain and inflammation, Graston Technique to break down scar tissue and adhesions in the affected tendon, and therapeutic ultrasound to promote healing in the deeper tissue.

If elbow pain is affecting your grip or daily activities, schedule an appointment with our Blaine team.
